Papble Explained

A new web concept was launched a few months ago called Papble: http://www.papble.com/. The idea behind Papble was to create an image wall made up of small blocks which could be purchased to support various ideas or organizations. The blocks can be purchased individually or in groups assembled to create a separate unique image on the wall. This is somewhat of a virtual time capsule and similar to bricks being purchased for a walkway to support a particular project. There are a possible 250,000 virtual blocks or “bricks” that can be purchased on this wall, each potentially supporting something different.

Any “brick” or block can be purchased for you to advertise yourself (either a link to something important to you, your business), a memorial to someone, make a funny statement or anything that you can imagine should be part of the virtual “brick” wall. When the wall is complete it will be a collage of randomly designed blocks and embedded, distinct images. The wall will exist for at least 5 years, with the desire to keep it up forever as a monument to the messages and images created.

The way this works is simple:

1. Pick what you want to support from the left pane, for example the Celiac Disease Foundation, http://www.papble.com/imagedetail_big.php?id=118&sess=.

2. Pick the open “brick” that you wish to purchase.

3. Add the name you want displayed.

4. Add your message (and link to whatever, if you choose).

5. Purchase the “brick”, you can change your message until the entire wall is complete, however this “brick” will live at least 5 years, hopefully forever.

A few more details:

1. In effort to promote this effort, there is a generous referral program. Not having the means to market this and promote our idea, we chose a referral program to enlist help. The table below demonstrates an example of the way the referrals work. If you get 30 people to purchase 1 Papble, and each of those 30 purchases 1 Papble, and so forth, the payout to you would be $3,249 USD.

When you login to Papble, click the referral link button; use this link to send to people to ensure you receive credit for Papbles purchased by people you refer.

2. Papble is integrated with Facebook Connect and PayPal. There is never a need to give your personal information to Papble.

3. As you move your mouse around the wall you will see each of the messages that have been left.

5. When the wall is complete, posters, t-shirts, and other memorabilia will be available for purchase as well.
